Today is turning into an absolutely gorgeous day. Started out cool (when I went for a haircut), but warming up quickly. DH and I have a long walk planned for after lunch.

#1/2 what I wore to stylist's shop
Jean jacket - Denver Hayes/MWWH - 2014
Red sundress - Liz Claiborne/ thrifted - 2019
White jeans - Calvin Klein - 2017
Sandals - Spring Step L'Artiste - 2019/new

#3/4 for afternoon urban trek with DH
Dress per above
Straw Hat - Columbia - 2019/new
Red sneakers - Converse - 2018

#5 after haircut ( straightened for fun)

The ladies at the hairdressers liked outfit #1/2. The hat band is navy with red and white polka dots. These are my signiture colours - red, white, and blue!

Love the dress in all its iterations, but I hope we "know" each other long enough for you to take this in the spirit it is intended, I don't like when your hairdresser straightens your hair !

Angie - this is my NATURAL colour. I started getting noticable white hairs around 50 and started colouring it as close to copper penny red as possible. However, chlorinated pool water and frequent showers (due to fitness routine) plus the fugitive nature of red dye resulted in some very bad hair days! I stopped colouring summer 2014 and had the last of the coloured hair cut off summer of 2015. I have some red hair, but so much white that my hair reads as 'sandy'. It looks especially 'blonde' when blown straight, but streaky when I let it curl naturally (see pics below #1 and #2). In all my searches for inspiration on how a redhead would go grey, I've only found one actual photo. (#3)

Shevia - no worries! Last cut was in April and I never wore it straight a single day from that cut until today. We are going into our humid season, so resistance to the curl is futile!

#1 Day 1 of cut - blown dry and straightened
#2 Day 2 same cut - left to air dry
#3 I believe this model is a naturally 'greying' redhead - the only inspo I could find for my natural hair journey

That dress is so nice both ways. And I love your hair in all iterations. While my texture is different, we share the strawberry blond journey. Your gorgeous color gives me hope! I have a lot of grey/white strands that read sort of blond too. And when my hair is freshly styled it too looks quite blond.

You signature colours are beautiful on you. My former boss (now retired) had red hair when lightened to strawberry as he aged, very similar to your hair colouring. Yo are so lucky to have such beautiful hair that looks even better at home than when done by a hairstylist.
