Adventuring into different colour palettes (olive, yellow, lavender) hasn’t displaced red from it’s claim on my heart and happiness! For a walk through the conservation area behind our home, and into town for takeaway coffee and shortbread I kitted up in brights that are warm since it is overcast and temps are just above freezing.

First outing for the boots - 2 hr walk, 9k - warm toes, comfortable without inner soles (!) and light weight. As good on sidewalk pavement as they are on forest trail. I forecast these will be workhorse footwear.
