Another sunny but cool spring day around here for St.Patrick's day. I don't have much green in my closet, but I have neon citron! So I threw this on in a hurry this morning to make it to parent teacher interviews at my sons' school. Felt great and bright and happy all day thanks to my new Sam Edelman Cruz silver slip-ons! I was planning to buy the black version this spring, since my light blue pair from last year were absolute workhorses. Well, the black never even made it onto my foot once I spied the silver ones! I think these might even be more useful to me than the black this spring & summer. I already know that they fit my foot really well, and they were on sale at the Bay this past weekend :). I felt a little bit like a bright, shiny bullet today. I'd already chalked up the JCrew neon painter tshirt as another online fail, but I think I like it paired with grey and silver. What do you think?

I like the grays and silver with the neon-y citron! Does the t shirt work with your coloring without a scarf? (It looks like it does, but that's the problem I always had with 'true' neons). The shoes are awesome on you, it's like you are channeling Mercury/Hermes and zipping around with your silver sandals, assuming he was into sporty-luxe.

The neon is tough colouring-wise, that's for sure. I feel like it casts a glow all around me, however, it makes me laugh when I look in the mirror. The scarf tempers it for sure. It works better when I have a bit of summer colour, but it's fun to perk up a day here and there anyways

I like it! I'm wearing my silver loafers today too The tshirt in the stock photo looks like a very different colour than on you . I like the combo with soft grey and blue - good idea. I have a citron pullover I haven't worn yet, and think I may just copy you !

Late to the game... but this is casual sporty luxe at its finest and brightest!! I love how you've paired the gleaming silver and lit-up neon together! Really gorgeous on. The coat really adds chic touch to it. But it's great either way.

I actually really love neons. I was told by my stylist that they really only suit women with darker skin tones. But honestly, I get a lot of compliments when I wear a neon coral orange. I think the only time I haven't liked neon was a girl with pale skin that had a lot of ruddiness (or sunburn?) and her hair was light blonde. She was wearing a neon red/pink color and it just completely distracted from her face, eyes, and hair. I think maybe a neon blue or purple would have suited her better? Otherwise, I've liked neon on a lot of different skin tones and hair colors.

Love the shoes - and I never notice shoes lol! And the citron is a great pop of color. It doesn't look like too much though because all of the rest of the pieces balance it so well.

Both neons are fab.
You really made a great color combo with the cool blue-grays with the neon. It kind of evokes a great cool sea green-blue water-color vibe--I think the multi-tones in the shirt add to that, too-- but the neon adds excitement and is the star without being too pushy. Inspired!
