WIW...more stripes love!

I found a new striped sweater to love! The sweater is cotton rich, but has some synthetic. The stripes vary in thickness, getting wider towards the bottom of the garment. I have a 'thing' for stripes though my collection is more modest than it once was. I would love to add a multicoloured striped t-shirt like the Fossil tote in pic 4. This love of stripes started about 6 years ago and shows no signs of abating!

OMG, I have the same stripe sickness. Mine is concentrated mostly in tops and dresses. My closet reminds me of Smurfette.... you open it up and there's all the same in there. But it makes me happy!

Hah! I think you already know that I too collect stripes, Carla:-) So it won't come as a surprise when I say that I adore your new sweater!! Th stripe pattern is fun and different, and it looks marvelous on you. Just looking at your stripes collection makes me happy! Harvey's bag is super cute too, and I absolutely think there is room in your life for a multi-coloured striped tee (always happy to enable my fellow stripe lovers;-)

Your new jumper is FAB. I love stripes too, it's pretty much the only pattern I wear apart from checks/gingham.

Love your collection of stripes. I had been away from them for a long time and just started back. I too bought a sweater with graduating stripe. It’s a better look on me. Only I go with blue as black looks harsh since graying.
But I am in love with those bags. The colorful one sings spring to me——and it’s about dang time. Good riddance winter.

I don't wear stripes very often; and yet, I like to look at them on others. They read so classic to me, chic, timeless. They suit you well, Carla.
I do love the stripes in that bag, so fun! I'm hoping you find a top with similar stripes because I would love to see it on you!

The stripes are great on you! I'm often attracted to them but stop myself from buying more because I have a few that are in occasional rotation but not workhorses. I like them for summer -- one of my favorite summer tees a few years ago was mint green and navy stripe, short sleeve, V-neck tee, and I wore it so much it started pilling and looking worn. It's now ranch wear. I bought a black and white version to replace it.

runcarla - have you seen this one? Stripes seem to be having a real moment. I chose the second Find here to add recently as I don't like high constrast stripes for myself but softer visual stripes work.

Oh you are talking my language here,I love a good stripe.I have quite a few striped tops and jumpers all with horizontal stripes and have just made myself a shirt dress with vertical stripes.I think they are a classic and come back every year so never seem to date.I very much like your collection of stripes especially the bag.

Fab stripes, Carla. I, too, like stripes. They look so crisp, in particular when white is one of the colours. Your black & white striped items look timeless and elegant casual.

Another favourite pattern of mine is polkadots.

Love stripes!!! Same with polka dots. Favorite combo is black and white, so I especially love your collection. I would consider navy and white.
