WIW/KR - Multi tasking.. :)

I brought in this blazer to try for a friend at work to get her opinion. I've been looking for a beige/tan blazer for a while now and have not been successful, at least not in my price range :). So I thought I'd combine my WIW and a K/R on this blazer.

WIW: I have a cardigan on (it was a bit cold this morning) over my mesh sweater. But I think it looks too matronly. Thoughts?
1-2 With cardigan
3- Without cardigan

4-6 K/R: The blazer fits well, I like how it's fitted as I dont have a waist and this gives me shape, but I'm afraid it might be too formal? Can I dress it down? Did I successfully dress it down in these pictures? I'd wear it casually, sleeves scrunched or rolled and unbuttoned.

I don't think 1&2 look matronly at all. I think they look quite nice.

I think the jacket looks nice and it looks very appropriate for a business casual environment. However, it does look like it is pulling when you have it buttoned. But it looks very nice unbuttoned.

How does the jacket feel through the shoulders?

It's actually very nice in the shoulders, able to accommodate for the slightly dolman sleeved mesh sweater underneath. I would normally wear it unbuttoned.

I think the matronly effect comes from the up-do paired with the handbag, actually. But this is an aside. The double sweaters is cool in my book

Re. the jacket - it's nice, but I think there's a richer shade of tan/beige that I'd like better on you...

You look amazing in that blue! Tough call on the jacket. It looks snug buttoned, but if it feels good to you, and you like the colour, then it can certainly be dressed up and down.

I prefer your outfit with the jacket vs. the cardigan. I'm not sure of the fit of the jacket since it seems a little tight when buttoned up. Are you planning on wearing it buttoned or unbuttoned? I rarely button my blazers so I would probably keep it. I think it can easily look dressed up or down depending on what you pair it with.

i think you look great and blazers aren't for old ppl i been wearing them since i was 15! and this one is a fitted one ...i think it looks great! just something there is something i don't like ...when is closed...but overal its a great blazer!
