I apologize for posting and running! I keep meaning to stick around longer but things are hectic around here. I try to pop in every day but can't seem to make more than a few replies. Love all the spring outfits in the air
Lots going on around here including a massive closet edit! What began as simply an inquiry into getting my colours done, turned into meeting a wonderful local lady (and YLFer - hi Marj!) referred to me by the lovely Ariadne (who I had the good fortune to meet at the mini-meetup in Vancouver last month). So we haven't even gotten to my colour analysis, because there was work to be done in my closet! I purged 2+ garbage bags before she even arrived, and filled 2 more during the edit.
I'm working backwards from today - super high happiness factor here. I'm working towards focusing on softer dressing, softer colours, and lower contrast. I was hoping to pair this teal top with my grey jeans but they are looking pilled and need to be replaced. I love my scarves, and am discovering that they work well with sleeveless tops - acting as that 3rd piece (thanks Marj ;). I realize my outfit in 3-4 is too high contrast with the scarf against the white, but time was short and I was running out the door. Further outfits feature many items that have since been purged, but I'm posting to keep myself accountable. Not much new over the past month, I seem to be in gear for a few days in a row before I actually get a chance to get cleaned up and dressed properly. Good thing I picked up the Zella capris that Angie posted about in the swimsuit coverup post - I've been living in those all week!
Wonder if you can guess what's been purged (hint BLACK) and what's been saved? Must say I'm living with a drastically reduced closet, and so far no worries! I'm wearing what I have
Hi to everyone and hope you're getting to enjoy some spring weather like we are here.
