After denying the return of cooler weather and ‘wearing white’ (in my previous post) I have taken inspiration from the colours of the season! About a quarter of the trees have turned colour in our town. (We are in a pocket of warmth.) Just north, and to the east it’s about 50% colour. Saturday DH and I went for a drive in the countryside, and today (Sunday) we walked the trails of the conservation area behind our home. Temps were cool, but the day was sunny. Brought masks since we nipped into bake shops for a take-away treat both days.
