So this outfit looked pretty good in the mirror. But I have doubts now that I see the pics. I am planning on wearing this tonight for a beach park barbeque dinner with family. I know it's going to be warm and humid. So, I chose this swingy black studded shoulder dress. I paired it with my studded thong flats (a gift ... yep it's gifting season! LOL) to echo the studs on my dress.

I needed a pop of color .... so I chose this very colorful ethnic handmade Indian handbag that DH bought from NY(!). Being an Indian it's pretty ironic. LOL! But I love it and wonder why I never bought anything like this before! The outfit felt pretty boho with the addition of the bag. And if I am going boho, I might as well go full on. Added a 3 yr old cuff which luckily matches the bag! Too much? (Pic 1 without cuff/pic 2 is with the cuff)

Not sure if this looks pulled together. Even with all the doubts ..... Why do I feel happy in it?! I still have loads of time to incorporate changes. So please feel free! Thanks for looking and commenting! xo

ETA: My homemade manicure and pedicure to go with my outfit ;). Had to share (even though my feet are ugly and alien looking. Lol!) Because Aida and Leopardluxe inspired me to paint my nails again

Let's just get this off first...your feet are not "ugly and alien" looking...You don't have my permission to ever say that again...Your feet look amazing with the coral pedi...I saw the pictures before I read and I thought, her pedicure is definitely professionally done...better than mine (which I did)...I really did...
Now to the outfit...definitely boho but not so in your face..I love the look of the black sundress and turquoise bag...Very classy and chic..Perfect for your beach picnic...Oh the cuff just makes the outfit..You must wear it...Have fun...

The bag is great! The rest of the outfit looks pretty simple with just enough detail to tie in with the bag, so the whole thing definitely works for me. And, if you haven't already left yet, I say wear the cuff!

Absolutely, it works! Your bright colors are gorgeous against the fab black dress. I think it's great with or without the bracelet, but for sure, wear it if it hasn't been out to play recently.

With a black dress all of the drama and the feel is in the accessories. This is wonderful. I love that the bag is the star and even nail polish is a part of the look. I also adore the bracelet. This is a wonderful look. I think the dress is a bit oversized but I also think it works because it is a boho look.

Cast away all doubts Neel. This outfit is perfect in every way. From the mani pedi details to the chosen accessories and more understated dress. It all works together quite seamlessly, nothing is OTT and that's the best way to do Boho IMO.

Wow, Neel this is perfect! I really like the swingyness of this dress. The cut is amazing, and it looks like a fabric that can certainly keep you cool in humid weather! Excellent accessorization and I love how your mani-pedi matches the colours!

As for your doubts after having the photos taken - I experience this a lot. I felt this way about many of my outfits because I look larger than I really am in the photos. The camera has a weird way of skewing perfectly fabulous outfits sometimes!
