WIW catch up 4 - a weekend in clams and FFB cocktail outfit

So here is the final post in the series of my catch up posts, I am back on track now. These are the outfits from the first weekend in June.

#1: FFB cocktail outfit. BF decided to go to a fancy event in the last minute, and I really wasn't in the mood to come up with something new. I also have to admit that I haven't started looking for various items to add to my cocktail capsule yet as I was too busy rounding up my regular summer wardrobe.
Ruched black dress - Calvin Klein, red patent peep toe pumps - Michael Kors, pearl bracelet - Juicy Couture, matte gold croco clutch Liz Claiborne

#2: Casual outfit for errand running on Saturday. Banded bottom top was a life safer in the heat.
Turquoise silk jersey top - BR, denim clams -Levi's, champagne sandals - Clarks

#3: Slightly dressier clam outfit for casual dinner out with friends. The top is very comfy in the heat but not sure if the empire styling makes it a bit dated. Thoughts?

#4: Another casual weekend outfit inspired by something TX Ana wore recently. These are my new coral clams and new pointelle oversized sweater.
White ribbon yarn sweater - Gap, coral clams - H&M, champagne sandals - Clarks

Ooh these are great Tanya! I adore your cocktail dress in #1, it's really gorgeous. #4 is my favorite of the lot, the coral clams with the open knit sweater is SUCH a fun look (man I need to find some colorful clams!). I personally do not like empire cut tops (don't mind them for dresses), so I am not a huge fan of the red top in #3 but that could just be me #2 looks perfectly casual and comfy, love those sandals.

Tanya, the L.B.D looks timeless to me, and all the casual shots are terrific.
I love the length of the clams, all perfect.
The top in #3 is a lovely colour on you, and you could probably update the style with something on top. However, if you have other tops in this shade already maybe consider letting it go?

Number #1 is my hands-down favorite. It is elegant and so gorgeous on you. I also like #4 as the pink is so up-beat. Number #3 has that eye-catching red top which clearly flatters you against a black slack. Number # 2 is cozy and warm--great to wear when you curl up on the couch and read a great book.

I am pretty certain that the pinkish top is going into the donation bag. The more I look at the picture, the less I like it.

Another stylish week, Tanya. Particularly love the chic simplicity of #1 and the delightful sorbet cool and lacy texture of #4 with your nude sandals. You look so pretty!
