Today was Earth Day so I decided to wear green and brown. The skirt is about 10 years old and wool. I got it for $10 on a sale rack at the start of summer many years ago. The mod pattern really spoke to me at the time. It is hard to match with tops, so I tend to wear it as an 'outfit' with either a brown short sleeved sweater, or with a green tank top. Because we still have snow and cold temps, I needed an extra layer for warmth.

When looking at the pictures, I find the look kind of shlumpy. Is it the cardi ? Should I be rethinking this garment and does it have a place in my closet? I like the comfort factor ( cotton) and the 3/4 length sleeves, but maybe it doesn't do anything for my shape? (I own 3 in the same style, different colours).

Also, is the skirt past it's 'best before' date? What I though was a flippy A-line might actually be stretched out fabric.

Thanks for looking, and please advise...time to give up the cardis? Time to dispatch the skirt?
