I love Canada, too, Lisap! PoHo puts on quite the show for a population of 17,000 (counting surrounding farm country). More pics:
#1 party at Victoria Park - bands perform in the bandshell all day, until fireworks after sundown. Kinsmen fund raising B-B-Q. Adam, from Queenie's set out a table of red and white cupcakes in Canada flag formation and gave them away for free! (He's like that.)
#2 City Hall with antique tractors, cars, and motorcycles ('Shine and Show')
#3 Walton St. (the main drag) quiet after the parade with everyone at the park
Note: fashion was typical hot weather combinations of t-shirt, shorts, and hat in various combinations of red and white. I did see some sharpe dressed women. Floaty red sleeveless dresses were popular, crisp white shirts and red capri bottoms also, and generous brimmed sun hats. One dapper fellow with flowing white hair and goatee was in a white shirt and red bow tie with a natty straw hat.
