Earlier this year I added a pair of ‘Mother’ cropped trousers to my closet. I wore them twice, and then hot summer started and only shorts would do. With cooler weather, I brought the new crops out to play. After 2 wears, I decided to tailor them for a better fit. After taking in t.he waistband and rear seam, they fit so much better. I’m pairing them with my current passion - large florals! Here are 3 outfits from this week.

#1 - top is Old Navy sourced by Roxanna and lemminged by me. Love the super soft French terry fabric, and muted large print botanical motif.
#2 - very old Only and Son’s T-shirt from the men’s department (found by DH who announced on finding: ‘this looks like you!” Crew necks and men’s styling do not equate with figure flattery, but I love this T and will wear it until it is shreds.
#3,4,5,6 I’m very happy with this outfit - worn for a drive along country roads to do fall ‘leaf peeping’. DH and I stoped for a take-away lunch that we enjoyed at a secluded picnic spot with a view of a meandering stream. We were the only ones there. Thrifted men’s shirt, belt is a self tie from a dress repurposed, 8 yo jean jacket (MWWH), thrifted silk scarf (flowers and fruit), Converse sneakers, and new beaded bracelet made for me by our very own suntiger!

I’m open to styling tips/suggestions, and thank you for reading...
