WIW...this week-navy and a jean jacket.

Decided to experiment with the navy blues in my wardrobe, and my jean jacket.

#1 inspired by Caro and TracyLiz65 and their mixing of blue and white florals and jean jacket. I would never have thought to top the dress with a jean jacket. I think the dress is too short to wear with boots, but we got snow. Maybe the pointy toe black flats with the studs would work better?

#3 Experimenting with the pencil skirt and jean jacket. My jacket is darkwash, so to inject some colour, I wore my jade and cobalt plaid flannel top.

#2 and #3 look super! I think for #1, the boot height looks fine but they look heavy against the floral and denim. Maybe lighter colored boots?

2 & 3 are my favs. I agree the boots look a little heavy with the floral dress.

Actually I kind of like the boots with the floral dress and love how much wear you're getting out of that denim jacket.

I hear you on #1. I like the jacket with the dress but agree the shoes would have lightened up the look. What can you do with this snow, though?

I hear ya on the boots in outfit #1 but sometimes we have to be seasonally confused when the seasons actually ARE confused!

I like #1, and don't think that the dress is too short for those boots. I don't mind the heavy boots either. It looks more like an Autumn outfit - that's all.

Smashing jacket! I'm so glad your exploring newer options with it. All three of these look spectacular. Love the idea of flannel plaid with a pencil skirt! What about a less traditional shoe choice for #3?

#1 is my favourite- I think the boots look great with it. But, my goodness, have you noticed that there is snow on the ground outside? Put on some tights/stockings before I freeze, woman! Tehehehe!

Gorgeous dress - and looks fantastic with the jean jacket. You'll get so much mileage from it - I'm picturing it dressed up with a white jacket, and maybe a change of footwear if the $3## snow ever stops!
