On my way to Seattle (Bellevue, actually) to see my Dad who is 85 and has been battling multiple myeloma for 6 years. He took a turn for the worse late this summer, but since I booked my travel, he has ralleyed and has even said he will meet me at the airport when I arrive! I will also see my brother and SIL when I am there. I am optimistic, and in a good mood. I am hoping for one free day for downtown Seattle, but won’t know anything until I get there - so last minute if any fabbers are game?

I wore a trench coat over outfit #1, because it was 6degC when I caught the train into Toronto. It was 10degC by the time I arrived so the trench went into the bag. With several hours to spare, I cruised the shops and picked up a light weight Uniqlo puffer that perfectly matches my hair! It also matches the gold stripe in my trousers and the dark floral turtleneck I’m bringing with me. Heck - it goes with all kinds of things in my wardrobe! I cut the tags, packed the wool blazer, and wore the puffer out of the store!

Team Wear! All my new purchases are in the roll-aboard!

Thanks for looking!
