I'll be off site tomorrow at a workshop. From past experience I know the temperature in the room will be freezing. So I'm trying to come up with an outfit that will be polished, professional and toasty warm.
Three layers on top - cami, INC black turtleneck, BR sweater/jacket, then BR trousers (lined) - micro glen plaid check., and my favourite belt just to spice things up!
Thoughts on what else I should add?

Ooh - that is SO great. I love that BR sweater on you. I had it too, in navy, but consigned it after about 5 wears because for some reason I didn't care for it on myself. On me it looked too ladylike and classic. On you it looks chic. LOVE the belt with this and the pants. What shoes are you wearing? Do you have red booties?

I like this outfit a lot - the belt is especially fab! If you are still worried about being cold, what about taking a large pashmina type scarf with you? Sounds like you should be good to go with your top layers, but I've been known to put my big scarves over my legs like a blanket if my office is particularly cold!

Thanks Suz - know what you mean about the sweater. I like it much better paired up with something then I do on it's own. Wish I had some red booties - that would be fun!
I plan to wear my black Zara booties - but will be sporting a red shoulder bag.

Good point Christy - I'll take a scarf as well - I've got an animal print one that will work nicely and keep me warm. What is it with these seminar rooms that are like stepping into a freezer!!

How chic! I wouldn't think you needed anything else (including the printed scarf) because your belt and the buttons on the jacket are embellishment enough! Also, would you really need a scarf over an already covered neck? It might look too matchy which the outfit doesn't need because it's sleek and sharp! For added warmth you could try a thicker pair of socks or tights, something that won't affect the look you've already achieved?

Good thoughts Junebug - I would wear it just in transit (under my coat) and tuck it away on arrival. I like the idea of having it on hand to wrap around my legs.

I think your outfit looks great with the animal print belt. The scarf sounds like a good idea for extra warmth if needed. I just spent the last two days at an industry conference and as you say, it was freezing in the conference rooms. Having a cup of hot coffee or tea on hand is nice to wrap your hands around even if you're not particularly interested in drinking it.

Adore the proportions of this. The clean break of darker top half and grey bottom, punctuated by an eye-catching line of print from the belt, is just poetry.

Excellent! No, nothing, should be changed. I especially like:
the perky shoulders
the contrast between very fitted top and slouch bottom = elegance
leopard belt to bring both worlds together.
