WIW...a week of (Vince) repeats...

I have fallen in love with my oatmeal Vince cashmere sweater - and throw it on practically every day (as seen below). Wish I had it in another colour...

Monday - schlepped around in gear all day, then quickly showered and changed into this super casual outfit for a class parent meeting. Hudson crops, Vince cashmere, BC Hard to Tell sandals

Tuesday AM - appointments & errands - grey F21 skinnies, Vince cashmere...again... BP pink oxfords

Tuesday PM - Quick cleanup to host a friend's jewellery party at my place. Current Elliot BFs, Old Navy tank, Camper sandals.

Thursday - Driving my pup to my parents' place for a doggy-staycation which both he and they love. Gap BFs, Vince (AGAIN!) cashmere, BP pink oxfords, Enoki crossbody. Ok, I stopped into the Eileen Fisher store on my way back b/c on the spur of the moment I decided I had to check out the bateau neck tank that Angie recommended a short while ago. When I walked through the door, the SA exclaimed that she loved my outfit and thought I looked like I popped straight out of a magazine. Wow - never happened before and I was blushing and smiling. How nice of her. Then another independent person at the back of the store also mentioned that she loved my shoes! What a day for me Happiness factor (before the nice comments) was already high.

Thursday PM - out for sushi for a girlfriend's birthday. White AE skinnies, Zara citron top, BR necklace, Aldo nude heels. Pretty much a repeat of last week but it works.

Clearly I'm on Team Wear with my new Vince sweater. I'm already getting my cost-per-wear down - and it was a great price!! Gotta love it!!!

No wonder you have fallen in love with that sweater, it is gorgeous! And so is the outfit on which you received all the compliments. But honestly, all of them are, you look great!

Um...talk about inspirational, Jackie!! That would be YOU, girl!!! We can learn a lot from each other because we have a similar casual MOTG lifestyle, some body type modifiers in common, and we both live in Canada (though my temperatures are more extreme). Plus, we seem to have a similar style persona to a degree. Yay!

I love every single one of these outfits and would snap them up in a hot second. No wonder you are wearing that sweater like mad (and getting compliments). There is something about the drape of fine fabrics that just makes everything feel better.

So...dying to know...did you buy that EF top??

Deborah, thanks for the compliment on the house. We built it ourselves and moved in last year. I've been experimenting taking photos in places where I can find a good place to prop up my phone and haven't really thought about the background! Our exterior is very traditional, and has to be due to city by-laws, but we went uber-modern on the inside. You and your wonderfully modern clothing style would transplant quite nicely here

Suz - no!! They didn't have the bateau neck tank top, I was so sad. The SA found me 5 different tanks to try, and I should have taken photos in the changing room. I did like the drape of one, but my concern was that the neckline was too scoop-necked - like a regular tank. I am trying to be pickier about things like that. So although it was very nice, what I really, really wanted was the bateau neckline. I was quite proud of myself for walking away, actually
