WIW...a favourite combination.

I think I have 4 versions of this look copied to my Pinterest inspiration board! Don't know if it is for inspiration, or to validate a uniform/look I love.

It was rainy and cooler today, so wore an older Liz Claiborne raincoat. Hoping to replace it with something better down the road. My favourite black pants, a stripped T, and Guess suede slippers.

I love it too! Stripes + trench + true love. I can't wait until it's cool enough for me to try this. I might just have to travel to somewhere cool because December is a long, long way away.

I love your bag and shoes with this outfit too! The column of black with leopard shoes is really eye-catching in the last photo.

I really love the black and white with tan -- your version even more than the inspiration. I especially like the different ways you've used black and white in the purse, scarf, shoes and top.

Clearlyclaire, when I did this this am, I was also thinking of what my travel outfit for me pending UK trip might be! Less than 6 weeks! As the time draws near I will start to monitor the weather over there....

Lyn, this is a fav scarfs. It is 100% cotton, but expands quite wide, and can act like a shawl on occasion. Mostly black and white, it has a rainbow of.multicoloured threads...but subtle.

Ceit, photog son makes me laugh...he says the pics are better that way!

Deborah, Carolyn Murphy (model) has some very classy and classic style pics on Pinterest, but if I could play in anyone's wardrobe, I think Michelle Williams checks off the most boxes for what appeals to me. Weird, I don't think I've seen any of her movies, but keep dog-earring all her style pics in the fashion mags!?!

What's not to love? This is a perfect travel outfit, for sure! I wore a striped sweater and a striped shirt constantly on my long trip last autumn. They were pattern when I had no pattern, and they also pattern mixed extremely well.
