I am totally team wear, so what better day to debut a jacket than a bitterly cold one! This look is a riff on one of the ensembles I posted in my K/R for the blazer: cropped black pants + flats + striped tee. Since it is so cold today I swapped the cropped pants for long ones, layered ski socks underneath and wore my Rockport snake patterned booties. I semi-tucked my striped tee to show a skinny belt and added a small pendant, stud earrings, and my wedding rings. The blazer is actually a near-perfect match to my sapphire engagement ring, which makes me smile.
I liked the original iteration of this outfit - with neat cropped pants - better. I think the scrunch at the hem of the pants, soft blazer, and tee might be too much softness. But at least I am warm and comfortable!
