I was trying to think about color/pattern/texture/shine, as well as the basic/interest/completer/accessory formula that popped up a while back. I'd say I am kind of missing the interest in 2-3... What would you add? Suggestions for improvement are always welcome

I quite like your neutrals outfit. My only suggestion would be to leave off the jewelry, or wear a piece that is larger scale. At least in the photo your jewelry looks delicate, which to my eye is at odds with the style of the clothing...it wants to be strong.

Love the cobalt jeans outfit--very sassy and stylish I think the neutrals outfit is great too. I agree that bolder necklace would be fun or a lapel pin perhaps? Both look great though.

Your clothes sure look a lot like mine. I was thinking I could come so very close to duplicating both these outfits.

I agree that some bolder jewellery could really punch up your neutral outfit. Either that or a patterned top. Or a red or purple infinity scarf.

If you're uncomfortable with bright colours, chunkier jewellery with some shine would be great too. I can easily imagine a sparkly bead cuff bracelet with this.

Cobalt jeans are the PERFECT thing to wear to a one- year-old's party! Fun, fresh, and happy. Love that outfit on you.

I think your neutrals are great, too, though I agree with the suggestions for bolder jewelry and/or maybe a bright shoe, or scarf, or perhaps animal print somewhere.

JR - I just flipped through some of your WIWs and definitely see some overlap, except I think you wear more color than I. I will have tokeep watching to see what you come up with

Suz - Thanks! Those pants don't get out too often so I have to take the opportunities that present themselves. Also the babies at the party loved tugging on my scarf. I felt very popular with the under 3 set.

Love the cobalt look...the jeans,the boots,the scarf! I'm probably not much help with your other outfit. You look good just not that exciting, which is ok too. I have a hard time excepting the short jackets over long tops so I would be adding a longer jacket.

Both outfits look good to me. One strong bracelet or watch on your wrist, or just keeping your pretty hair down, might add to the second.

Emily, outfit no.1 looks good. How about adding a nice necklace to outfit no.2 or a scarf to add interest. Another option could be a string of pearls.
