We continued to have summerlike weather this week, and it was fun to dress for it. Next week is expected to cool off some, to more usual spring temperatures.

While it wasn't planned, I ended up wearing lots of blues this week, in four out of five outfits. There are two office outfits here, for which I have questions about possible alterations; and three "play" outfits.

1) A blush-out for work (#1-2), consisting of blush wide pants, blush lace blouse, a beige-blush blazer, and taupe-blush chunky loafers. This blazer is a rare item in beige color family that I can actually pull off, as it has strong blush undertones.
Alteration question: pants length. These pants are meant to be cropped, but on the short-legged me are sort of the new shorter full length, right below the ankle bone. I actually want them full length, not cropped. There is plenty of material (2-3") in the hem, so they can be let out. Thus, is the length OK as is or should I have them lengthened and approximately by how much?

2) The 2nd work outfit (#3-5) is blue striped shirtdress with blue t-strap shoes, and with cropped linen jacket for the office AC.
Alteration question: dress waist. I purposefully bought the dress a size up for a bit up blousiness in the upper body. It is fairly fluid everywhere, and there is about 2" extra material in the waist, which is the only area giving me a pause. The material is non-stretchy and the cut a bit complicated, so wondering if I should just let it be as is or consult with my tailor about possible waist alteration. #3 is the dress as is, in #4 I am holding the extra material back.

3) I have already posted this outfit on my cargo thread, but including it here for completeness (#6-7). For a cat cafe visit & a nice dinner, blue cutout top with blue wide cargos, black lace blazer, white sandals and satchel and polka-dot scarf.

4) For a dinner at a more casual restaurant (#8), a denim dress, accessorized with black rosette choker, studded black sandals and black cross-body.

5) For lunch earlier today at relatively casual restaurant (#9), silk floral halter blouse, blue jeans, blue shoes and pearl grey cross body bag. These are my current favorite jeans, as they have both darker side stripes and side slits, which are I love for their leg elongating effects.
