WIW x3 - spring colors for winter outfits

It is snowing in the DC/MD/VA area today, so no work and WIW for today. After having lived in Boston for 8 years, it still surprises me how little snow in MD causes workplaces to be closed. But I am not going to complain about getting a bit of rest.
These outfits are from the past three days, I have fallen behind on posting them. I have decided, starting this weekend, to make my own spring and incorporate spring colors/elements in winter outfits. Of course, that is why it snowed today

#1: Green skinnies - H&M, purple cashmere cardi- Benetton, polka dot chambray shirt - Gap, taupe booties - Report
#2: Raspberry blazer - Tinley Road, cream turtleneck - Express, brocade print skinnies - Wit&Wisdom, taupe booties-Report
#3: Striped sweater - BR denim shirt - Gap, red skinnies-VS, black booties-Aerosoles

The first outfit is too cute!!!! In a good way. The second outfit is my personal favourite and I think #3 is the most wintry of them.

The first outift is just perfection, Tanya. So spring like and fun. THe fit of raspberry blazer is spot on but on my monitor it is showing more as red. Also, we are BR striped sweater twins.

This is a great idea! I think Angie says it is how she gets through the long cool Seattle springs. I ADORE #2 on you especially. But all are great. Fresh colours really do feel more spring like.

I personally like #1 the best. The color scheme is fab and accomplishes the winter/spring look. They are all great though.

Were also fashion buddies. My favorite style era is the 50's as well

And I should totally copy the outfit in #2, seeing as I have the same pants and the darker fuchsia version of that blazer!

PS: Yes, I am sure we are not getting a snow day tomorrow (when the storm is supposed to hit Boston), plus I have lab meeting so I have to come in no matter what. Gah.

Tanya you have such a great sensibility for colour. I just love what you've done in #1. I would never think I could pair those colours, yet it totally works, more than works, shines. Stunning. The other two are excellent as well! The jacket in #2 just accentuates your great shape. And I'm jealous of how fab you look in stripes in #3. Inspiring looks!

This is how I "make spring" too, it's such a big help when the weather is crummy! Lovely outfits, I'm especially fond of #1 (WOW do those pastels look amazing on you or what!!). Also really like the bright and cheerful blazer with the creamy turtleneck in #2, GREAT transitional pairing. And the denim shirt in #3 adds a little pop of spring in a more unexpected way than the nautical sweater. Fab!

Thank you very much everyone! would also agree that #3 is the most wintry looking one, but at least t has some color - I find red seasonless. And thew raspberry blazer in #2 got some approval in the lab - a coworker commented that is nice to see someone in a happy color.

I will try to keep doing this at least half of the time, although all the snow and rain today were not exactly inspiring. I a so ready for the spring to come!
