Here are two outfits worn earlier this week, both featuring sweater vests.

The first outfit was worn for WFH, specifically an important Zoom meeting. It was built around a very old teal argyle vest, which is fitted, so I experimented with wearing it as a layer under a teal VB blazer. Since you couldn't see my bottoms, I wore a simple pair of slim straight dark wash jeans, at full length, with navy snakeskin loafers, which have a touch of green. If I were going out, I would have switched the loafers for a pair of teal ankle strap shoes, and rolled the jeans hems to show off the shoes (#3). And were I actually going to the office, jeans would have been replaced with navy trousers.

The second outfit was worn for casual late afternoon walk. This one was built around the new, loose houndstooth vest I got at NAS, and styled the same way they did in the catalog: over black tee, with faded relaxed straight jeans and stompy black boots. The jeans are full length that is too long for me (lots of scrunching) and need hemming. I was debating between full length (currently trending) and cropped (as in the photo). I am leaning towards cropped, as the combo of full length and relaxed fit did not look most flattering to my eye on myself, but it could also be that I am not used to the look.
