Hello YLF!

Documenting the week. I must apologize for some of the photo quality. I didnt realize they were that bad. I have gotten my stack of boxes that serve as a tripod stacked up so #5 photo quality at least was a bit better.

It was colder this week than last and I felt better about my outfits. Lesson learned this week: Almost all my shoes my shoes are "transitional". Only my black boots and new oxfords can be worn with socks! I pulled out the gear boots Friday for this reason... well that, and I was walking the dog in an ice storm.

1. Worn to help my MIL look at some real estate. I wish I would have gotten a size larger still in my new JCrew sweater. It's ok but a bit short after washing. I like a partial tuck to break up my long torso so this is good at least. Yellow BF jeans are literal... took them from DH as he hasnt worn them since we moved to a more conservative town. Levi's mens 511 skinny's. Plastic belt buckle from museum gift shop as summer.

2. Worn to take DD1 & 2 to pizza restaurant play date. The got to tour the kitchen and make their own pizzas. I felt good and stylish meeting mom's in our new town. Scarf was a bit fussy, I will wrap it again and tie it next time.

3. Repeat #3 on this new fav look, although the first time I have had these oxfords to go with it. Before I used the tan loafers in #2. LOVE LOVE LOVE my new oxfords!

4. Take off on Ceit's knight look, sadly the pic is too dark to tell I tried to get a pic of the outerwear at the gym but it turned out green. Luckily, I was super happy in this outfit so Ill be wearing it again and will get a better pic! Also went to the grocery in this.

5. Was at home all day as the ice prevented me from getting out of the drive. Walked the kids and dog outside in the weather and had a general good time. The gear boots and 4" hem roll are a total take off of what one of the "cool girls" wore in my high school in the 90's. I felt good in this, I make put a little shoe polish on these boots and wear them some this spring on the rare occasion when I find I need shoes to wear with socks!

Last night I spent some time going over a bunch of adjectives trying to define my style. I think last year I learned how to dress in a bit more figure flattering manner and now I am looking for some words to help define my style to make shopping easier and more effective. Would love your thoughts on this!
