Hi all

Some summer outfits I have worn lately. The last 2 pics were taken while on summer holiday in the bush. A large male roo came grazing in the backyard. Be sure to check out the size of his paws!

Outfit 1: Knit crop top with tube skirt. The top is new. It has that high low thing happening and a cute crossover back. Only $40 from Decjuba so I bought 2. The other one may fall victim to project dye (more on that later). I like the way it freshens up and tones down the animal print skirt.

Top: Decjuba, Tube skirt: Metalicus, Bag: Halston Heritage.

Outfit 2: Uber wide leg pants. I only have 2 pairs of pants (not including jeans) and both of them are winter weight so I have been on the look out for something more light weight. These appealed to me as something different and flowy for warmer weather (I struggle with fitted pants in summer). They have a crossover front and are so wide leg that they look like a maxi skirt. I had to stand in a somewhat awkward position to demonstrate that they are in fact pants. The ombre top is actually a tunic but does not fit me properly (despite alterations). So I am being sneaky here and wearing it wrapped around my waist 1980s cummerbund style.

Pants: Cue, Ombre top: Young Fabulous and Broke, Bag: Halston Heritage.

Outfit 3: Maxed out in head to toe plum. I thought I would post this for solidarity with fellow maxi fan Sally/Kiwigal (waving across the ditch ). And because it is such a cute photo of my dog. I was trying to get her to pose with me but she wanted to play with my skirt instead. Reason enough to enjoy wearing a maxi! The dress is by Heather. Mine is a couple of years old but the same style seems to be sold on Shopbop every (Northern) summer. It originally had cap sleeves but I had them removed because they had an annoying tendency to bunch around my shoulders.

Feedback always appreciated
