Three WIWs from this week.
WIW 1: Today's WIW. No clean jeans in my closet other than my white bootcuts, so I paired them with a fuchsia v neck and caramel accessories. Imagine my surprise when I saw Angie's post today with bootcuts! Nothing edgy in my top. But edgy for me (and I can almost hear Angie chuckle!): I'm wearing my warm toned boots and satchel with my cool toned donkey colored jacket. Wooo oooo, breakin' out, K! I have this totally weird thing that I feel like I can't wear warm and cool colors of neutrals together. Yeah. Totally weird and irrational. Do any of you have a weird foible like that?
WIW 2: my first wearing of my lace up black patent oxfords from NAS. I adore these shoes. (Wow! Ouch! Just went back to pull up the picture from Nordstrom and all I can say is, they were really discounted at NAS. Good reminder that NAS has some fantastic deals.) These are the first oxfords that felt girly enough for me. Worn with navy straight leg pinstripes and my cobalt cardi. I felt like it needed an accessory and something tough but feminine, so I added my chunky necklace.
WIW 3: my irrational love taupe sweater with navy slim cut trousers and nude shoes. I kept it simple to let the sweater shine. I love how soft and comfortable the sweater is. Looking at this now, I'm thinking it might look great with the necklace from WIW 2. Hmmm. Yet another reason WIWs are useful!
