WIW yesterday and today. I haven’t posted any WIWs in a while and happened to snap pics.
Yesterday’s outfit was worn for a very close friend’s son’s graduation party. It’s a two hour drive away, and a warm day, so comfort and just a notch about casual were what I was after. New Peruvian Connection skirt, metallic sandals, black Maeve boatneck sleeveless top, and old aqua clutch. The pendant was a purchase from Santa Fe, and worked surprisingly well with the skirt.
Today’s outfit is for a meeting with a fellow artist to plan an exhibition we’re doing together, and then going to see a friend’s daughter’s band play at a neighborhood festival. I’m hoping I won’t be too warm — it’s in the low 80s but a little humid today. Suz inspired me to break out the old Zara sarong shorts. Like her, mine sit a little higher in my hips than they used to, but still fit. I bought this tie-front Lucky Brand tip at Marshall’s in TX last year to wear out when I’m at the ranch but ended up liking it enough that I brought it home. I think it works well with the sarong shorts. New Diba platform sandals and my silver Milly tote (not pictured).
Hope you’re all having a great weekend!
