WIW: Wrapping up last Week and the weekend

Here it is Sunday night and I just realized I never finished up last week's challenge by posting Friday's outfit. I also took pictures of WIW over the weekend, so I will add those too.

Shoes - Feet First (Had to swap these out for open toe sandals due to a large blister on my toe. I can thank myself for that - with my ingenious move of walking 14 blocks in peep toe wedges on Wednesday!)

It was still over 30 degrees by the time we went for a late dinner on Saturday, so there was no fancy layering going on for me. Simple and cool was the order of the evening!

Your hair is wonderful...love the touch of blond

Looking at your outfits, both 1 and 3 really sing...I think it is the cool colors used. In the photos they seem best suited to you, are lovely and soft patterms/colors, and just downright flattering.

Purple cardi and top are the best in #1 and red flats complete the outfit beautifully. I am new to proportions too so sorry no help there.

Jayne - I think you identified something I hadn't noticed - and that's the colors I'm wearing. Even though those are my colors, I went for a long time without these colors in my closet. It completely mystifies me as to why, but, I'm happy for their return. The great prices at Cleo are definitely helping!

I really like the colors you wear Krista. And you wear cropped pants so well. #1 is my fave. And the little bit of blonde in your hair looks really cool:). But you know you greatest asset has to be your beautiful smile:)

Your proportions look good, Krista. I looked at the photos before I read your questions, and the first thing I noticed was that your top in #2 is a very good length for skirts.

And high five from a fellow "cool colors" girl!

Absolutely adore the print top in #3. All of these looks are great on you, Krista. #2 is less attention-getting, but that is not a criticism. We can't always be standing out. Anybody who looked twice would have been impressed. No misses here, as far as I can see.

I seriously have to check out Cleo. Or at least their clearance rack. ;o)

I like the porportions of all the three outfits but the first one is my favourite, so many good things in that outfit.

These all look great to me. It looks like you have a good handle on proportion and the right silhouette for you.
The only suggestion I would make is that a jacket would have added just a touch more crispness and structure to outfit #1. Are you a jacket gal?

JR - the prices at Cleo are seriously good right now. Summer clearance - everything is 50% off the lowest price. I went back and picked up MORE yesterday - it was too good!

Queen Mum - I'm on the fence with jackets. I have a good shoulder line and a hefty bust and sometimes I feel like jackets are too much, which is why I have enjoyed my cardigans; they're "softer". However, every once in a while, I throw on a jacket and love it all day - so I appreciate the suggestion that a jacket would work with this outfit!
