New insane linen wrap sweater can be worn any number of ways! I am not sure how to describe the color - sortof a golden, greeny brown. (A little voice keeps whispering, "Baby poop color, it's baby poop color!!!" but I am ignoring it. Go away, little voice!)

- Spina linen wrap sweater (from Yoox)
- James Perse cream tank dress
- Eileen Fisher linen crops
- Fiorentini-Baker sandals

I hope no one looks too closely at my legs, because they are so covered with bug bites from *a single day* in Austin I haven't dared to shave!

Cool sweater! I wouldn't have thought of baby poop if you hadn't mentioned it. I kindof like that color, actually.

That's a beautiful golden tan! You have such a sophisticated look IK. I love your unique pieces and this sweater is no exception. The color is a fab addition to your white tops and the lines are so interesting that no one will ever notice the bites on your legs!

Now that's a versatile piece. I think the awesome drape and styling should distract you from any unfortunate color associations.

MNSara - the texture is rough enough that it stays put pretty well. Also, it has a loop on the short hem to thread through!

Great sweater, gorgeous color. For years, my bathroom was painted a greeny-gold like your sweater, and yes, my little voice also whispered 'baby poop.' Not that I cared. Loved that color.

Suz, I'm 5'6". If I stand very tall after doing Alexander technique, i think I'm 5'7". But usually I slouch. Curious, do I look taller or shorter? I know I'm short-waisted and long-legged, it'd be fun to add "looks tall"!

Love it! I have a similar sweater that my sister gave me; you can see it here, along with a tutorial on how to wear it. Great on airplanes. I've even worn it as a scarf.

I love how well you wear these unstructured pieces! I try them and they make me look like a blob, I just don't get it.

I'd love to find a great easy linen sweater -- any suggestions on brands?

Janet, I am an inverted triangle/rectangle with a small bosom, so I don't have much in the way of girl parts to get in the way of fabric draping. I seem to recall you are built much more like a girl, so what fits me might not work in the same way for you just because of, you know, boobs. You might try Inhabit and Eileen Fisher, and look at their linen knits.

I ask because I really love and admire the kinds of clothes you wear. But as a shorter person (5'4") and with shorter legs, I find a lot of the shapes hard to wear - the clothes are often overwhelming for my frame. Or don't give me enough structure. Or something.

You don't look particularly tall OR short to me in the pics, but I was curious, because you do look GOOD. So I have been puzzling about what aspects help. It could be your strong shoulder line if you are an IT. I have pretty wide shoulders, too, though, and am small busted. So theoretically, those aspects should help me.
