I had one of my hotel reviews to do this Easter weekend. Not the comfiest time of month, but duty called and I flew!

It was HOT in Bangalore --- 33 degrees Celsius, or 91.4 Fahrenheit. I was glad I'd chosen loose tunics to skim over my bloated belly!

So here's what I wore:

#1-3 Travelling outfit that had to go straight from airport to lunch meeting and hotel tour since my flight was delayed.
- hand-printed cotton kurta (tunic)
- jersey-knit cotton churidar leggings in dark teal
- scrunchy gold-print teal scarf
- teal gladiator-ish shoes --- yes, the one I was supposed to throw away, but I wanted something walkable in for messy weather and dusty streets, and was very glad of these
- silver bangles and small studs in my ears

#4-8 was the change for the evening press conference and formal launch event (cocktail do, followed by dinner)
- blue shantung-style silk kurta (my Dad's handiwork)
- silk-cotton blend crushed white churidars
- hand-dyed and -woven silk stole from Cambodia, a gift from my SO's Mekong cruise last year
- brown mock-croc clutch
- thong sandal in blue, purple and grey
- pearl cocktail ring, enamelled earrings and wooden hair pin with silver clip

#9 I don't have a photo of the next day's outfit (mostly at leisure, enjoying the hotel, apart from lunch with the public relations team and the general manager for the property). But what I wore was identical to this, but for swapping out the shoes to my animal-print flats from the next outfit.

#10-14 Flight back home after breakfast.
- Very boho tunic/dress that ties in the back, is sheer but has its own slip. I'm on the fence about the modesty of the neckline. Does it look overpoweringly voluminous on me?
- Same brown leggings as in #9
- Animal-print ballet flats
- Same small stud earrings

Oh, and I carried a small black satin bag throughout --- just big enough to fit phone, wallet, notebook and small make-up pouch --- except at the evening do. Shown in #15. Didn't want a larger bag since the carry-on bag, with my laptop, was enough to
be lugging on one shoulder.

And if you're wondering how it is that the photos are taken at home, it's because I popped into these again just for your entertainment while sorting the laundry!

I came home to find we're in full hail and thunderstorm mode in the hometown. Which has meant no electricity for the last day and a half, because the power lines have been blown off course! We have back-up power from a generator, but it needs a couple of hours rest each day. So I had time to kill, away from the computer, washing machine and oven --- and decided to play dress-up :-p
