I havn't figured out how to make a collage yet, so thats the reason for all the "layering" / "getting dressed" photos. Sorry if I bore you with all these pics!!

#1-7 Work wear ETA: I needed some sass to give some extra at work this day
-pencil skirt
- tunic / mini dress
- vintage belt
- green wool cardi
- blue blazer
- scarf
- caramel "happy" booties

#8-11 MOTG - forcing myself to sport jeans. I think the belt did it for me this time.
- dark skinny jeans
- white blouse with a bit shimmer
- vintage belt
- grey wool cardi
- caramel "happy" booties

I love that green cardi! The only look I wasn't wild about was the blazer over the cardigan. I would have never thought to belt the cardi over the dress. It looks great.

The like the denim outfit as well. It looks stylish as well as easy to move around in.

Love that first outfit with the green cardi - beautiful layering and colour. I prefer it without the jacket over top just so the cardigan gets a bit more love, but it looks good with as well.

and yay, someone else who loves and wears vintage belts!

Love the green cardi with the black and gorgeous belt. I prefer that one without the jacket on top. Love your motg look - without the belt, with the belt and cardi, they are all great!

Thank you all for comments and overwhelming positive response on the cardi and layering Makes me happy and also a bit more tuned in on when finding my own style. And of course, after dwelling in the past with closet cleanup and no-good-items (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-pic-heavy), your responses lift me up again

You are a master-layerer! I love the sass that the short-over-long gives your work outfit. Nice job with the jeans too, why do you think they're hard for you? I love that you've named your booties too, and that they're happy ones. Happy shoes make for happy feet and a good day!

@clairlyclaire: The dark jeans are my best (out of two), but I find it a bit difficult because the need to cover up muffin top. Earlier I always wore jeans and t-shirts or fitted sweaters, so I guess that way of dressing is a bit ingrained in me and I try to take a step away from that since it doesn't fit me any longer

I love the way you layer, Harmonica! Big fan of #4 and #7, LOVE the cognac belt and boots with the black, gray, and green. #9/10 look great, I don't think you need to worry about that outfit looking like a "boring jeans and tee" outfit

The casual outfit was a way of kicking jeans/tee's out of the house.

@Manidipa: you have such an eye for details! Details in the upper part of a blouse, shirt, top is really great because the eye is drawn to that part, instead of lower down. Really good point!
