Going to the Red Sox game tonight directly from work, so I needed an outfit that would go from lab to game. Some considerations were:
--it tends to get super cold at night games at this time of year (they go till about 10pm if no extra innings) with no sun to warm you up. And the bleachers are cold! Hat and scarf are a must. No exposed ankles, etc. It's also super windy today; may make for an interesting game.
--nothing that I wouldn't mind getting beer/ketchup/etc spilled on.
--nothing at all remotely resembling Yankees pinstripes!
Anyway, this was definitely a day that called for many layers. The base of this outfit is my FFBO of black tee, jeans, and boots. Over that I put my rose print knit moto, and on top of all that I have my old black wool swing coat and red hat and scarf. That way I get my Red Sox colors in, as I decided this morning that my red long sleeved tee (which I keep for this exact purpose) was too tight and needed to be replaced.
Anthro moto, AT tee, Gap jeans and belt, H&M coat, handknit hat, ??? scarf, Sam Edelman boots.
