Since I just wrote a long post whining about snow boots... I figured I should actually show you how I'm wearing them today. Sorry about poor quality pics - the snow boots also mean I can't use my regular picture spot (that has natural light) since I don't want to track residual salt and sand into the bedroom, so i'm stuck taking photos in my poorly lit front hall.

I'm just going to work today, so casual/snuggly is fine. Wearing my old BR Martin skinnies, which are too warm most of the time but which are perfect for 14F/-10C and snowing, my aran sweater, and the brown Sorels. My outerwear scarf has some brown tones in it so I hope it makes the brown boots look a little less out of place with my black coat and bright hat and mittens (red hat and green mittens are my nod to holiday dressing today, I guess!).

handknit aran sweater, BR Martin skinnies, Sorel boots, Kenneth Cole coat, handknit scarf, mittens, and hat.

ETA: Adding a couple of pics of the snow on my commute home, including a selfie of me in full-on yeti mode.
