So we are back home from the dinner with the old friends. In the end their youngest ( 21 y old son) came along as did our 21 y old son and our 23 y old daughter. It went very well and I felt good in my newish cropped jeans from this year now 22 wears, an old short fringed tunic, and debuting the boots my sister contributed to for my birthday in March. I had thought they were maybe a mistake but were actually pretty comfortable for the restaurant. I felt good with the tidier hair and my university girlfriend now has greyish-blonde hair, maybe no longer fully dyed? Thank you all for the lovely comments this morning, they really helped.
