Ha! After several days of painting group, painting class, running group, rec center treadmill running, and being winter-weathered in (none of which requires more than gear or grubs), I was looking forward to this evening’s quilt guild meeting. I dressed appropriately and spent an hour finishing sewing binding on a quilt to take for show and tell. The quilt is going to be a wedding gift in mid-February, so this meeting is the last chance to share with the guild.

While I was sewing, the rest of the board was having an email conversation and ended up canceling tonight’s meeting due to icy roads. While I thoroughly agree safety comes first, especially since many of our members come from up to an hour away, ... pooh. I really wish we were having the meeting.
