WIW, with debut of sneakers

Like the Season

Inspired by YLF raves, I recently bought two pairs of Ecco sneakers. As I mentioned in another thread, I haven't owned non-gear sneakers since college. Guess what. I love them. And I work in a casual office so they'll get plenty of use.

1. Gray-blue linen tee and black Gap Outlet khakis.
2. Thrifted Loft cardigan and graphic tee.
3. Old cardigan, J.Jill black tee, black jeans and new Eccos #1.
4. This cotton tunic is my attempt at statement sleeves. It has a cute peplum seam in the back. First time wearing.
5. Old white button-down from Target, chrysoprase necklace and new Eccos #2.
6. Close-up of the necklace.

They look really, really cute on you.

Of your outfits, I particularly like 4, something about the proportions is just the right meeting of relaxed and flattering.

These photos highlight the still surprising to me impact of a little bit of ankle, making everything look and prettier and lighter.

Isabel, thank you. I've always enjoyed cropped and cuffed jeans and pants, sometimes choosing wider legs, sometimes narrower.

Thank you, Suz. I need to spend some time thinking about proportions; I know a lot of my outfits aren't traditionally flattering in that way.

What a lovely set of outfits! Casual and interesting and put together. The new sneakers look great. I especially like outfit no 3 - love the light cardigan with the black combined with the sneakers and the contrasting laces.
