Oh, wow. After a long, miserable day at work, I cannot tell you how much it means to come home to so many amazing, smart, fashionable ladies giving me feedback and compliments. Ha, especially about my hair, which is in an aggravating in-between stage right now as I'm grow out a pixie.
@ Beth Ann - How comfortable were they? That depends on the ratings scale you use. I have very fussy feet, so all heels over 2" feel like I'm walking on gravel. But I bought these because they are Doc Martens, which are less agonizing than any other heel brand I've worn. If you're a person who normally tolerates heels well, you'd probably find these pretty comfy. (I don't wear any very high end shoes though, so I can't compare to Louboutins or anything.)
@Deborah - your wish is my command. I'll post a tube skirt look in the next few days here.
@Rae - Sheer blouse is a good idea. I'll have to try to find one without any hint of crispness though, as this dress is a very thin jersey and bunches easily over layers.
@Day Vies - I have a much easier time styling with pants than skirts/dresses, for sure. That's actually why I originally posted for help - I didn't know how to wear them with anything but pants without looking a bit too sexy for comfort. Ha ha.
