Well, I have a perfect skirt for this capsule, but it's too cold out. And I was not feeling the love for my baggy grey wool pants combined with this turquoise cashmere sweater my mom gave me for Christmas (a size larger than I prefer). I defaulted to gray skinny jeans.
I always wear scarves in winter and this Turkish tile pattern has both the greener blue from the sweater and the lilac blue from the coat. With the coat and the Paul Green Affina boots, this outfit looks more dressy for when I go out later.
Since we were talking about fragrance, I wore Neroli Portofino today, mostly to have an excuse to include the pretty bottle in my photos. It's citrusy and I suspect it may be designated a men's fragrance as it reminds me of Eau Sauvage.
I feel like some of my finds disappeared, since I am pretty sure had this Club Monaco coat, J Crew neon yellow belt and the Rebecca Minkoff neon yellow bag in my collection.
Also, I wanted to compliment Angie on what a great capsule this is. It combines foundational pieces with interesting elements of shape and some lovely color pops. I like it because I can shop my closet and not the Internet for much of it. I'd been resisting the long cardigan idea but may have to come around if I see one that has an interesting pattern and doesn't make me look short!
