Been in a very tartan mood lately.
The first outfit was inspired by a lot of plaid midi outfits I've seen lately. Specifically, earlier this fall I saw a plaid wrap midi by Acne on several sites that was a dead ringer for a skirt I've owned for at least 10 years (mine was sewed by my mom). Net-a-porter styled the Acne skirt with a camel sweater (photo 4), which I also happen to own (handknit by me). So of course I had to wear them together! My version is (true to my style) less earth-toned and not quite so preppy. I paired mine with tall boots (and also leggings and knee socks which you can't see) because it's absolutely arctic right now. Also added an outerwear pic (with my knee length wool trench) because people always ask about coats with midi skirts.
#5 is an old, old Marc Jacobs runway look (from 2006 I believe) with similar pieces and a grungier vibe, which I also took inspiration from!
6-7 are an outfit from earlier in the week, featuring my plaid riding jacket and various other layered pieces.
