Yes, it is winter. Relatively!
1. Recently thrifted cotton trench. I love the color. Not sure I love it on me?
2. I finally found my Fair Isle sweater, which I have been hunting for since Angie posted about them about two years ago, and it is a beauty. Hand knitted from Norway by O. Allers. Keeping even if it is not flattering. Would wear a more structured bag next time.
3. I am off wearing grey and all dark colors and this photo shows why. But I like the graffiti wall Tel Aviv style.
4. Also in Tel Aviv, in the lobby of a (residential) building where I have a meeting. So my work look?
5. Hoppy hour! Get it? (Took me a few minutes to realize it wasn't a typo.) DH and I have recently discovered happy hour in Tel Aviv. I love a date that ends by eight!

You look amazing in every one. Just wait until I show you *our* winter light here. Quite a difference.

1. The trench is beautiful. Do you wear it closed, too? How does that look/ feel?

2. The Fair Isle was worth the wait. The real deal. It is totally flattering.

3. Extremely interesting. It definitely shows (by comparison) the value of colour. You still look good, by the way. Some might be context. When you are posed against a colourful backdrop, well...

4. Work look is after my own heart. That's how I do work, too. Denim plus jacket for the win.

5. Hoppy hour!! Cute. And yes! This is a secret I share with my friends, many of whom are ready to crash by 9 pm anyway. So late afternoon meetups work well.

I think the trench is fabulous on you; I love the color on you. And I also love the fair isle sweater on you, a very different shade of blue. Well, to my eye, you look great in both; what can I say? Your dark outfit looks super chic; I love the lines and textures. Yes, color is wonderful on you, but you bring a lot of interest to play in this dark look, too. I'm chuckling at your "work look"! The most casual look here, and really cute.

I hadn't thought about the possibility of happy hour for an early date night--brilliant!

Great collection of outfits. I love your Fair Isle sweater - just perfect!
I think you do so well with stronger, more saturated colors and high contrasts that for lighter colors ( new pale blue trench ) to work you need to have more of darker hues from same color family ( your bright blue earrings and blue jeans ) and contrasting colors ( vine colored top). And so it all comes together in a fun and flattering way - great job!

I actually really like the blue trench the way you have worn it here, with rust. Great balance and it looks so great with your skin tone!

You made me laugh out loud with your comment on the fair isle sweater (I love it and I’m keeping it even if it isn’t flattering.) it IS flattering on you, but I understand the sentiment - I also just acquired a fair isle sweater, which had been in my head since Angie’s post, and it’s hand knit and beautiful quality so I am keeping even though it’s not my regular style. Are you sure we’re not the same person?

The fair isle sweater is fab- love the neckline. I am recently off black and gray too, but I have to say it looks fine on you. But i do feel it’s so boring, in my own wardrobe!

I love the fair isle. I’ve thrifted a few hand knit sweaters from Norway. They are lovely and yours is too. And it is so flattering on you. I also like the all dark colors. Maybe you’ll come to like dark colors again. The trench looks like it might need a belt.

I love the fair isle sweater. Gorgeous fit and colour. The blue trench looks beautiful with the cognac bag, which I also love. Great graffiti wall. Nothing wrong with wearing black and grey. Your work clothes look perfect to me. I like the jacket with the jeans. Our dates end early too! Matinees work well.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one that likes an early date night! Happy hour gives all the atmosphere with none of the exhaustion!
Thank you for your super nice comments as always. I think I saw what slim cat saw with the trench color. It is a beautiful color but I think it needs a bit more work than the deeper blue of the fair isle sweater. And speaking of which, Roxanna, could we be spiritual thrifting twins? Suz indeed, our winter is probably spring to you!

YLF, Shevia in all these! New trifted trench has a great color which suits you and your hair, so well, very different and love you accessorized with rich brown! Remember Angie wanted to do this color scheme for winter last year-but don't really know if she managed to pick up the right wnated items, have I missed them?

Love the fair isle sweater and I think it looks great on you. I agree with everyone about how nice you look in color but I also like the black look - zebra boots - love! That said the pink jacket is really pretty too.

Love your color scheme in 1 especially, and you rock the blues! Great grafitti- never seen plates as grafitti And big yes to dates ending by 8- night is for sleeping!

You look amazing in that blue, and I love the combination with the cognac/cinnamon-y tones.

The fair isle sweater is PERFECT. I like it with the bag that you have one but can see that a more structured bag would be a nice juxtaposition and would look great also. I would have to disagree that it is not flattering - I think that's as flattering as a chunkier sweater gets and it looks great on you!

I do think you can still rock a column of dark, but blue is clearly your power colour, or at least one of them. And the pink jacket is sooo pretty.

I envy Tel Aviv's winter!

I really like the unusual color for a trench! Great find. And are you kidding me? I LOVE the fair isle sweater and don't find it unflattering in the least. I have a weird sugar eye for fair isles but never find one that works for me in "my" colors, and yours would be perfect, so it's a good thing I'm not closer since I'd come and steal it, suntiger style. You look great in all of these.

The happy hour sounds terrific, and I love your pics. Someday I'd love to visit there!
