So, I know I said I was going to try to post WIWs more often, but clearly that didn't happen. Life gets in the way and all that.
SYC is still going strong. I haven't really had much temptation (or time, really) to shop. As I'm going through my closet and slowly editing, I'm finding some things that I'd like to replace soon, but there's no rush and I still have plenty of fall/winter options. I am not really planning on shopping until the new year.
At some point during this sequence of outfits, it started getting really cold here, so you can see the hand knits, layers, and boots coming out in full force.
1-2: crazy pants with black on top and teal combat boots.
3-5: a handknit cropped sweater, printed tank, black jeans, and burgundy booties. I liked the base outfit here, but I think the proportions look really weird with the leather jacket and I'd wear a longer coat next time.
6: blue plaid flannel tunic with lots of black
7-9: winterizing my summer workhorse black denim skirt with a handknit cabled sweater, hooded leather jacket, leggings, and boots. Loved how this came out.
10: old favorite handknit sparkly teal cashmere sweater dress with leggings and tall boots.
11: another layered look with a handknit sweater
12-13: more hand knits for the first really cold day. The sweater is wrinkled from being folded up all winter, but the wrinkles fell out quickly with wear.
14: another handknit sweater, layered over a plaid shirt.
15-16: layered ruffles. It's hard to tell here, but the black tank has ruffles that mirror the ones on the burgundy jacket.
17: ancient bubble tunic, skinnies, navy tweed moto, and slouchy boots.
