Saturday began with lunch with my girls, followed by a wine festival with DH, his new boss and wife , followed by dinner with them as well...
A very busy but fun day... DH and I are not really wine drinkers, but love the fun of tastings... A great way to get to know new people who are somewhat introverted!!!
The wife and I took off by ourselves and had some really great moments, but by far had to be when she told me that this company has been like an albatross around her father's neck that he has held onto for 30 years, but never really concentrated on builidng up. She mentioned that for the first time due to my husband, they see a future for this company and she is so delighted to do this for her father...They had a consultant from another dealership come in all last week and he informed them that my husband's skills and experience were stellar and that he would help them quadruble their business... Something my husband and I have been saying ourselves!!!! So week 3 of his new promotion begins with more hiring. It's one think to go into a business that is successful and bring it up by a couple of million (his previous position) it is much more exciting to take a one million dollar company and make it explode!!!! My DD mentioned that he is coming home later (the consultant was in town last week) but that her dad isn't stressed at all and in fact seems very happy! There is nothing like loving your job!!!!

For my outfit, I again tried a 3 layered look beginning with a blue tshirt, then Ann Taylor leopard cardigan (which has a hint of blue in the print) and topped off with greay faux leather jacket... I have to say that i rocked it in my 3 1/2 inch heeled booties walking the convention center at the wine festival, and when I stumbled once... switched to water...so they were my indicator of when to slow it down!!!
Very windy and cold photo shoot! The second pose is usually my sassy one, but I didn't feel sassy, I felt cooooold! We are actually expecting more snow Wednesday....
