WIW, WIB, WIWW? Houndstooth, Houndstooth, Houndstooth.

I think I may need to institute a one-in-one-out policy specifically for houndstooth pieces in my wardrobe. I love black and white geometric patterms and houndstooth is my favourite for sure.

I took today off work so I have run some errands, wrapped some gifts, did a little shopping, and now on to baking.

Anyway, what I wore today...

(Suz - when I got home from the mall I did indeed hook on Tango's houndstooth leash and take him for a walk in my coat )

What I bought:

In addition to the houndstooth jacket from Le Chateau I posted about while I was at the mall, I bought a pair of houndstooth skinnies at Guess. I will only be wearing one houndstooth item at a time IRL, and since I got the houndstooth jacket I will be returning the white one I was on the fence about from F21.

And what I'm wearing out for birthday dinner with my DH tonight...

I think I will wear my new houndstooth skinnies, cobalt scarf neck top, and black blazer. I tried it on with heels, but I might go with flats... not sure.

Houndstooth and the tipped jacket really flatter you! Keep your eye out for the houndstooth scarf at Target, houndstooth ponte skirt at Nordstrom/Rack, and black and gray houndstooth tights. I think I bought the tights at TJ Maxx last year, but maybe they are still floating around somewhere.

I had to smile at #4 too! You look so happy --- having fun with fashion, as Angie said! I quite like the idea of keeping the houndstooth bookending of shoes and jacket, if not all together.

And that tipped peacoat is awesome, as is the pup. So CUTE! Bet he looked snazzy in houndstooth too.
