Hi all

So, I got this military style jacket from WHBM. It is a very similar style to some of my other jackets, including my black Zara jacket shown next to it in Finds. However, my other jackets are too warm to wear in late spring/summer (the Zara jacket is a wool mix) and I have been looking for something lighter and less dressy for casual wear.

The WHBM jacket is cotton and unlined. Very similar to a denim jacket. Denim jackets don't suit me, so this is going to be my denim jacket substitute for spring, summer and autumn.

No 1 (pics 1-2): worn to dinner at a local restaurant. We had our first rain yesterday for 3 months. That's great for everything except the hair, which was hovering on the brink of uncontrollable frizz all evening

No 2 (pics 3-5): worn to walk my dog on a cool morning. Dog walking for me involves a fair bit of standing around and chatting at the dog park and, on weekends, going for coffee afterwards. So it's a bit social, and I am trying to up my style. The jacket is part of that. Unfortunately, the boots are pretty RATE. The life of a dog walking shoe is a hard one

And finally...I have been stalking the floral blazer from WHBM shown in Finds for some time. Unfrumped posted a while back that she tried it and did not care for it IRL. So I kind of forgot about it. But then when I ordered the other jacket I noticed that the floral jacket was on deep discount and well...I decided to give it a go.

Anyhow, I think I am going to keep it! No pics yet. It is heavier than the other jacket, so there may not be much opportunity to wear it this year. But as it's cotton, it is a good choice for my climate.
