I'm still experimenting with lighter colored shoes and accessories and I'm very happy to report white shoes are a success. (Despite me occasionally glancing down and feeling like I'm wearing my old nursing shoes...)

This weekend I acquired a few new items that have inspired a new capsule: Navy, white and citron. I LOVE the crisp feel of these colors together and can't believe I ignored white for so long. I'm wearing a chiffon blouse and navy trousers from H&M with a thin, sheer cardigan from Uniqlo. The shoes are a domestic Chinese brand I found online on my favorite shopping platform Taobao (I'm still waiting for the arrival of another white pair in a different style that I think will go better with this outfit.)

A few notes: our staff locker room isn't the best environment for photos, but until I get my new full length mirror installed at home it's my only option (OMG my hand is huge). I don't usually wear my hair this way, but I just changed out of my cycling-commute clothes and was very hot. Also, I was in a rush and didn't pack the accessories I would normally want to wear, such as necklace, rings, etc. If I don't prepare everything the night before I often forget the support act! Maybe a better tucking job with a white belt?

I'd also prefer to wear the matching blazer with this look rather than the thin cardigan, to give it more structure, but I haven't yet had time to buy it.
