WIW: White on white experiment (with a bit of grey)

Hello YLF Community. This is my first outfit post and in a bizarre and entirely coincidental way it almost completely mirrored Angie's post from Tuesday! I didn't have the benefit of first seeing how a pop of colour can make this sort of thing sing so next time I try this I'll have a little play around with a bag - I'm more Team Pocket than Team Bag though - so that will be a bit of a stretch.

Moto - H&M this season - yay!
Shirt - ?? some business shirt place from 7 years ago
Jeans - 7's (from an outlet shop - soooo cheap!)
Shoes - Camper from 2 years ago (getting a bit shabby)

And just a comment on seeing my outfit photos uploaded. I honestly thought my legs looked longer than this ... what a revelation! Maybe I need to lose the folded cuffs on the jeans.

I'm a MOTG lurker of four years, finally coming out of the shadows and willing to take on the accountability that being seen brings. So looking forward to a new level of learning and sharing with you all.

I kind of dig the shabby, dirty shoes. But if you wanted to spiff it up a little, some nude Oxfords would be awesome!

Elle, how do you blur your face? I might experiment.

Sarah I do it in iPhoto. There is an edit button. You could probably do it in photoshop too.

Love this almost all white outfit. Looks like you have a great eye for proportions. Looking at yourself in pics is quite the revelation, isn't it? It's such a great learning tool.

Welcome and Congrats on your first WIW! This look has such a modern approach to whites and great proportions. Love your hair, too -- it fits the whole look exceedingly well.

BTW -- the mirror lies, but so does the camera. Camera angles can also make legs look longer or shorter. I don't see short legs here, though. You look perfectly proportions and ------ I want those shoes!

I know what you mean about being surprised by the photos. Your impression of short legs is no doubt the camera angle. I don't see it, but you can experiment with where you place the camera and see what happens.

Woah! YFL is going to be seriously addictive! I might need to start a thread to get some tips on managing YFL addiction. I'm so grateful for all the positive reinforcement. Thank you all.
