I would never have expected I’d like and wear a white dress, but Angie’s post a few months ago (https://youlookfab.com/2022/05.....e-dresses/), coupled with Carla’s posts on her white thrifted dress, sort of piqued my interest. Because when I saw an older blogger modeling a J. Crew white denim shift dress recently, I had to order it to try it out. I had zero expectations but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived last week. The neckline is not as high up as shown on the model (I really dislike tight, high necklines in the summer) and the armholes are not too low (and maybe a different bra would work better). I ordered my usual dress size in a Tall since I knew the listed length would be too short for me. I like the subtle A-line silhouette because I did not want anything too tight in the summer: https://www.jcrew.com/us/p/wom.....ess-in-whi

I think it’s JFE and I wore it on the 4th for an outing to the city to celebrate a family member’s birthday at a harbor-side restaurant (we ate outdoors). It was comfortable and cool, although pretty creased by the end of the day.

Thanks for looking! (iPhoto quality is not great, sorry.)
