So I've been enjoying a new FFBO formula involving these b/w shoes and bag. Often I pair it with white jeans, but it seems to make a myriad of patterned and colored tops and bottoms and toppers work together -- including various skirt, legging and tights pairings.

#1 is simple black and white with what my cats are wearing as inspiration (shoutout to E)

#2 has added pink pastel. This mohair sweater is pretty dated in cut but I really love the color (it's a true shell pink with warm undertones --the color of a rose-- for me the taupey 'blush' as currently available is deadening.) I like layering it under things with the cowl collar serving a scarf function, so I'm not sure whether to let it go yet.

#3 Is another FFBO -- a column of navy with dark brown (I wore a slouchy dark brown leather bag too). I've tried with less skinny jeans, but I generally end up preferring the narrower silhouette under this long light cotton peasant blouse. I need to try this with the jacket sleeves unrolled too (I had them up for practical reasons).
