Hello fabbers! After work today I am heading out to dinner with some friends at a local-ish chef's school, so I wanted to look a little festive. While I love the idea of a "pop" of colour, and a lot of ladies here carry it off brilliantly, it has never really felt like "me"; instead I decided to add a more subdued "whisper" of colour to my black and grey outfit. I have accessorized with a grey-blue and silver beaded necklace and a deep blue patent belt that almost matches my sapphire engagement ring. Hopefully this works! The bathroom sink closeup shows the colour more accurately than the full-length shot. (Aaand I just noticed that, rather than hanging out in the background as usual, the furriest resident of my household left one of his toys as a stand-in.)
