Hi Lovely YLF ladies!

AT LAST! The cool weather has arrived! Now it's *my* turn to finally be able to wear a scarf (it *is* all about me, isn't it?). I've shown this outfit before but not with Lemon Monty - the scarf is new, I thought it might make a good friend for LM, or is it too much yellow?

Thanks so much for looking, all comments and suggestions most welcome, as always.

And you! This safari-meets-marine look is inspired! Have you tried going a bit more safari with the scarf, draping or tying it in a round, with the ends tucked up or knotted instead of hanging down? Or is it still too warm for that (though it wouldn't be exactly against your neck with that length, more like a scarf necklace).

LOL "safari meets marine" - it is SO that, isn't it? I haven't tried anything different with scarves yet, this being the first time wearing one! I was going for a V line as I've found that to look more flattering on my apple shape, but I'm certainly willing to try anything

I love the scarf and the lorrikeet!

There are quite a few scarf tying techniques but really you just have to play.

Is the lorrikeet really noisy outside your window like that? We had parrots years ago (pre-kids) and friends had a lorri that was so noisy that we avoided conures and similar birds. We did have a sweet cockatoo (I know that is not a pet in Australia!) who sat on my lap like a cat.

Christianne, I will have to spend some time playing with scarves. Lorrikeets usually are extremely noisy but this is the first time I've seen them in this palm outside our bedroom and we've been here about 4 years. They were very quiet.

Good to see you and glad it's cooling down. The outfit looks great and I'd like the scarf with the bag and I like your pattern mixing. Do you wear purple? I am quite liking yellow and purple at the moment

CocoLion - thanks for your happy smile! The lorikeet is wild, there was actually a pair of them, they didn't want to be seen together, lol.

I love the combination of colours in that outfit. And the lorikeet is cute - we visited Australia a few years ago, and went to one of those 'Breakfast with the Birds' things they put on for the tourists (in Port Douglas) They were absolutely gorgeous. And noisy!
