WIW when every day is groundhog day

I'm sure everyone can relate! It's hard to tell what day it is anymore--except for the weekends. My game at work has been how casual can I go before I cross the line--pajamas, anyone? On the bright side, I have a hair cut scheduled this week. It's outside and I can't get highlights but I'm so excited to have a hairstyle again. Debating on going for my normal hair cut or leave it longer so I can still use a hair clamp--mostly because I'm enjoying my dangly earrings for a change. First world problems for sure but it's weighing on my mind since I may not be able to get another one for awhile... Has anyone altered their hair goals in the new reality?
Will add photos from my phone in a bit. Thanks for looking. Hope that everyone is hanging in there. Look how big Roman is getting. He's such a good boy!

All outfit look pretty and fun ( casual with interest ). I love your skirt outfits #2 and #6 ( I'm currently fixated on skirts ).

Yep, I have to make a conscious effort every morning to remember what day of the week it is. Yesterday, Thursday, I had a weird experience in that I was sure it was Sunday. Was this dementia?

You look great in every variation of your hair style. Lucky you to have such thick luxurious hair. Tomorrow is exactly six months past my last haircut, with no hope for a cut anytime soon. I've decided to make peace with longer hair for now--something different, and I remind myself that it doesn't matter that much right now.

I like all of your outfits, but I'm especially intrigued by the blue pants in ##4 & 5. Is that a camo print? Seems like a cooling pattern for summer.

I know what you mean , about Groundhog Day. What breaks up our week is watching the grand children. This week they were. It here because DDIL was tested for the corona virus. She had been running a low fever but felt ok otherwise. She was negative so maybe we can see them over the weekend.

OMG yes, my family has a morning ritual of texting good morning it’s Xday, just so that we keep each other on track.
Of course i like all of these, i see put together casual, no where near pjs...

Your puppy is such a cutie. The tanks with the higher neck and cut in shoulders really work well on you.

Hair salons are open where I am, temperature taken before entering, and one client at a time. Nonetheless, I have let my hair grow long because I've been in exercise mode so much and don't like any front layers hanging loose from from my bun or ponytail.

I ask my husband several times each day, “What day is it again?” He says I need to be careful in case I have to undergo a mental acuity test. Your outfits look great. I’ll bet you could make pjs work.

It's been a YEAR since I had a haircut. I had it cut right before leaving Colorado and then dragged my feet on finding a new stylist and now, here we are. The one thing I know is that any temptation I might have to get bangs again...those are right out! Have you been trimming your own?

I came back to say that I feel the same about days of the week - all mixed up and uneventful for me ( often work on weekends as well ).
My hair was finely cut in a very short pixie - almost nothing on the back
( need to wear a bigger earrings just to make up for it ).

Nothing sloppy about those outfits! I suspect even your PJs would not look sloppy. On the subject of not knowing what day it is....the photo below is something I saw on FB a few weeks ago and reposted. Says it all Hair salons have been open here for weeks, with all the usual precautions including signing in so contact tracing can be done later if necessary. My salon already had good distance between each station and only a few stylists, so it was no change to have just a few stylists in at a time, and they didn't have to change the infrastructure much. I've been going regularly to keep my roots touched up and to support their business. I decided during the shutdown days to continue growing out my layers until it's all one length. It somehow seemed "right" to me to go with a much simpler style, and it's much easier to pull back for outdoor walks in the heat.

A-hahah! No kidding! Lost in time... I got a haircut mid July after 24 weeks of grow out. Decided on a trim that gave it a shape that would be good for growing out, DS#2 is growing out an undercut, so we are going to have a contest who can grow their hair the longest! His top layer is longer than mine, but our overall length is comparable - and, he has curly hair too.

Your outfits are SIMPAT exemplified. #7 is my fave.

Wow! All your outfits look great and great on you so I can’t pick a favorite.

My last haircut was in February so I envy you. Today I am putting my pixie in a ponytail, albeit a small one. I don’t think salons will open up here until October at best due to nursing home rates. At least my razor cut has my hair looking better than a scissor cut would have, so my advice is to go with a razor cut if possible.

Your casual style is super cool, Kelly. I bet you would make those pajamas look chic! It's nice to have the option to put your hair up, and it looks great that way. So why not keep a little length for a while? You can always cut it shorter next time.

Yes, the pandemic made me re-think hair goals. I decided to keep a little more length on my short cut, after growing it out quite a bit before my first pandemic cut. I'm scheduled for the second cut this week. I may start to grow my hair out to a bob.

On hair, I have shifted my thoughts and will extend my cuts to every 8 - 9 weeks and then on colour, I am going to see if I can extend to a similar length of time, by using a daily spray to mask the roots for the last 3 weeks. I go to a different hairdresser for the colour now, which was endorsed by my lovely cutting hairdressers. First world problems as you say.

Yes, my DH is WFH and though he also does work on weekends, his M-F routine is daily strict, so I can still slightly tell some days apart!
